William went trick-or-treating for the first time this Halloween. He was supposed to be a penguin but the costume was too big so Disney wore it and the costume that Disney had was to small for him so William wore it. So William was "Lumpy," a Hephalump from Winnie the Pooh, basically a purple elephant. He was too little to understand yet but he enjoyed banging on doors and putting candy in his bucket. However, he fell asleep before Disney was ready to be done. Here is a couple pictures from the special event.

Catching up
We moved to Lincoln, NE in July. Michael completed his Masters in Physics and Astronomy at Drexel U in Philadelphia so we decided to head back home to the mid-west. I don't have very many positive things to say about Philadelphia so we will just leave it at that. We have all been enjoying being back near family. We stayed with my parents for a couple months while Michael looked for a job. Now he is working at Nel-net, which is a student loan company in down-town Lincoln. We are hoping this is just temporary and that he will be able to go back to school and get his masters in education so he can eventually teach High school.
William likes being close to his grandparents. He learned how to say grandma and grandpa before mom and dad. We are also close to my sister and her two children, Disney 2, and Casper 9 months. This summer we enjoyed having a back yard and many parks close by. William loves to play outside.
The first picture is of William at Antelope park collecting pinecones (August). The second is of William and Daddy at the Henry Dorly Zoo in Omaha.

I'm a blogger now!

I have had numerous complaints of how terrible Michael and I are about keeping in touch with people and sending pictures of William - mostly from grandparents- but the rest of you reading this shall get sucked into my blogging by William's cuteness (and soon to be Elizabeth Ann's). My new goal in life, besides having a baby soon, is to keep up with this blog so everyone can check it when they have time and the poor grandparents can be at peace.
Picture: William at around 4 months. He's saying "Don't be mad, you get to see cute pictures of me more frequently!"
